The Office of the Controller General of Accounts (O/o CGA) observed Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) – 2025 with a series of awareness and capacity-building activities aimed at promoting integrity, transparency and ethical conduct in public service. The initiatives were undertaken under the overall leadership of Smt. T. C. A. Kalyani, Controller General of Accounts (CGA), and were coordinated by the Vigilance Section, O/o CGA, under the guidance of Sh. Alok Ranjan, Addl. CGA & Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), and Sh. Bhole Amit Gunvant, Dy. CGA, aligned with the theme and mandate of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).
As part of VAW-2025, the following activities were conducted:
Integrity Pledge: Officers and staff reaffirmed their commitment to integrity and ethical behaviour.
Essay Competition: Encouraged creative expression and deeper understanding of vigilance and good governance.
Quiz Competition: Enhanced awareness and knowledge of vigilance-related topics in an engaging manner.
Workshop/Sensitisation Session: Provided insights into vigilance procedures, preventive vigilance and best practices.
Master Training Programme: Developed internal capacity through focused training on vigilance matters.
Other Awareness Initiatives: Additional activities promoting transparency, accountability and citizen-centric governance.
The successful conduct of these programmes reflects the commitment of O/o CGA to fostering a culture of integrity and transparency in public administration.
